1940s Breitling Datora 140 20, Triple Calendar
This wonderful and extremely rare collectors watch is believed to date back to the late 1940s / early 50s.
Works and runs very well for its age, with a full wind lasting about 24hrs. As with most watches from this period, we'd recommend a general service to ensure perfect timekeeping in daily use.
The original gold plated case remains in very fine yet unrestored condition. The silver dial shows a good degree of patina up close, as expected for a watch of this age. The Breitling Cal.20 movement and mechanics are very well preserved, and maintained very well in the past.
Recently fitted with a high quality genuine lizard skin strap and gold plated buckle.
Supplied in non-original presentation case.
A truly special and extremely classy timepiece which is always a talking point among collectors.
