The Breitling Top Time 2009 Chronograph is an iconic vintage wristwatch manufactured in the mid 60s.
 
These classy, elegant and extremely eye catching watches have a wonderfully unique design, featuring a sporty panda dial and housed in a pillow shaped case.

The 2009 is both classic and stylish in appearance, with silver dial and polished hour markers. It features a chronograph function with a tachymeter scale, allowing the wearer to measure speed or distance based on elapsed time.
 
The watch is powered by the original Valjoux 7730, a reliable and accurate manual winding movement that is still highly sought after by collectors today.
 
A superb example featuring a near perfect gold plated case. For a watch now 60 years old its cosmetic condition is exceptionally clean, showing very few marks on the casing, with very clean glass and a nicely developed natural patina on the dial, giving it a great deal of character.
 
Recently added, an original Breitling deployment clasp and matching leather strap. These offer quick release and ease of daily fitting whilst also extending the life of the strap as it requires no tension of force to fit, unlike a traditional buckle.
 
The watch has clearly been serviced regularly during it's life. Whilst the last date of servicing is not documented, the watch and all functions are working perfectly, with accurate timekeeping for daily use and immediate reset of the chronograph.
