1987 Breitling Duograph Voyager (Cosmos), Designed By Eric Tabarly
Without question of the rarest classic Breitling watches you will ever find!
The Duograph Voyager was developed in the mid 1980s in collaboration with renowned yachtsman Eric Tabarly.
The black casing on this particular example is what makes it quite so special, it's unknown whether it was produced as a prototype or perhaps as a special order, but it would appears this could well be the only example ever produced by Breitling!
This is real collector find, you'll not see another so even as a show piece it would be valuable enough to many.
Due to the age of the watch the smaller UTC clock remains fixed at 12 and is believed to be non-working. The primary clock however is in superb condition and keeps time perfectly when worn, body heat is a factor though, as when the watch is taken off it can stop until the wearer puts it back on! A quirk certainly but no different to setting a manual watch in this respect.
The watch has recently been worn and extensively tested prior to sale, so with our assurance the watch can be worn daily without issue.
Currently sized for a medium men's wrist size of around 7 & 1/4" comfortably, 7 & 1/2" acceptably.
