Classic 1998 Breitling Aeromarine Intruder Reveil (Pluton)
 
Follow on from the extremely popular Breitling Pluton design first launched in 1986, the Reveil replaced this when launched in 1998 but was sold for just 1 year in the UK (98-99) so these are far less commonly seen. 
 
The Reveil gave the Pluton a slight makeover but all key attributes were otherwise the same.
 Its 42mm military grade case houses a quartz movement with both an analogue and digital displays, whilst also being fitted with a robust 360-degree unidirectional compass bezel.
 
Alike to many others out there, the clock on this example is in perfect working order and is sold with highly accurate timekeeping. The digital display however, whilst completely stable, no longer offers any functionality for alarm or stopwatch etc. 
 
In preparation for sale the watch had been cleaned and polished, giving it an exceptionally high shine and an extremely clean finish. The glass however is original and shows a few light age related marks.
