The 1461 'Series Special' is not only rare but also one of Breitling's most high end classic automatic watches, incorporating a high grade automatic movement with advanced 1461 day (4 year) perpetual calendar, and chronograph stop watch. It also includes a stunning moon phase, this rotates during the course of a calendar month to mirror the transitional orbit of the moon.
This much cherished watch has had just one owner from new, it's in exceptionally clean cosmetic condition and with full functionality. Included with the watch is the original Harrods purchase receipt, so too a copy of the service receipt from Watches of Switzerland dated 2018. 
 
Bought new today, Breitling's cheapest perpetual calendar watch starts at £12,000 with many closer to the £20,000 mark and above! This is therefore a true flagship reference model and one which is very seldom seem on the second hand market, especially with the option of gold hands and indexes markers. 
 
Sold with a complete full set of papers including the owners manual, moon-phase reference, authenticity/warranty book, service docs and more. The original box is in good condition, the storage case however has no hinges (as is common with age) so some care is required when opening the lid.
