The Breitling 1156 Cadette is a beautiful vintage wristwatch dating back to the mid to late 1960s.
 
Featuring the renowned Valjoux 7730 manual winding movement, it's housed in a 35mm gold plated case with steel back.
 
Like many of Breitling's most famous models, the Cadette also includes a chronograph function for measuring elapsed time.

This very original example is in nice clean condition with no evident wear to the gold plating and only lights marks to the glass. Up very close the original dial shows its age with natural patina but looks superb none the less.

The watch has not be serviced in recent years so for optimum operation one is recommended. However, its timekeeping remains extremely accurate for 24hrs with no noticeable loss or gain. The Chronograph too has been tested and runs well but requires a clean and some lubrication at least as the reset button sticks once pressed.

Fitted on an genuine Breitling leather strap with signed deployment claps for swift and easy fitting.

This is a lovely vintage watch, eye catching and a real collectors piece. To be worn and enjoyed immediately but with a view to servicing in the future for optiumum performance.
