Breitling Jupiter Navitimer - Blue Angels USA Special Edition
Breitling Jupiter Navitimer - Blue Angels USA Special Edition Launched in 1986, the Jupiter was the largest in Breitling's range of new quartz watches (measuring 41.5mm). Incorporating a sizable rotating slide-rule bezel, this was a popular choice for both pilots and military personnel.
This exceptionally rare, limited edition version was produced for the Blue Angels (U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron). Produced in very low numbers this highly sought after collectors watch is to date the best example we've been able to source. It's original owner having serviced and maintained the watch wonderfully throughout its history, the case, glass, dial and hands are all flawlessly clean and scratch free, the only signs of use being to the edges of the slide-rule bezel, this suggests it was likely owned by a pilot or perhaps a member of the Blue Angles team.
Alike to many two-timer style watches of the 1980s, the Jupiter features both a primary analogue clock and a multipurpose LCD display too. Scrolling through the options this provides a secondary time-zone, day/date/month, chronograph stopwatch and alarm. The watch also features an LCD display light.
In preparation for sale the watch has been cleaned, tested and fitted with a brand new battery in August 2026, with a typical lifespan quoted at 3-4 years. A brand new (NOS) classic Breitling strap with easy-fit deployant clasp is also included to complete the appearance of the watch.
Provided with the watch we've a very rare set of accessories and classic storage case.
