Rare collector condition Breitling Nightflight Chrono J-Class

Made for only a very short period between 1988 and 1991,  the J-Class was one of the world's most sophisticated digital watches ever made! Incorporating a 27-Jewel B53 caliber movement, it has 2 central-sweep hands, one counting chronograph seconds while the other hidden hand tracks chronograph minutes, this being in addition to the clock, date and sub-dials used to measure 1/10 (split seconds) and hours too.

The rotating nautical bezel is what made this range of watches so highly distinctive, something which Breitling have never since repeated in the last 35 years, but which completes the iconic design of this watch.

Unlike many quartz watches, this has been regularly serviced by its original owner to ensure it delivers perfect operation, timekeeping and full functionality of all features. The last service having been carried out in December 2025, with seals replaced and a pressure test included also to confirm a water-proof dive rating of 100m.

Perhaps what makes this watch so special however, it includes an original brushed Rouleaux Bullet bracelet. This incredible bracelet was a must at the time, but has since become one of the rarest, iconic and most sought after accessories for Breitlings collectors today.

Accompanying the watch is an original Breitling service case, owners manual, distributor list, even the some rather faded but clearly original fact sheets about the watch.
