Breitling Top Time (c.1968)
The Breitling Top Time 2006 Chronograph is an iconic vintage wristwatch manufactured in the late 1960s.
These eye catching watches are so because of their wonderfully unique design, featuring a sporty panda dial, housed in a cushion shaped case. The 2006 is both classic and stylish in appearance, with silver dial and polished hour markers. It features a chronograph function with a tachymeter scale, allowing the wearer to measure speed or distance based on elapsed time.
The watch is powered by the Breitling Caliber Valjoux 7733, a reliable and accurate manual winding movement that is still highly sought after by collectors today.
This is certainly one of the very nicest and most original examples we've listed. For a watch well over 55 years old its cosmetic condition is exceptionally clean, showing very few marks on the casing, with near flawless glass and little more than light patina on the dial.
The watch has clearly been serviced regularly during it's life. Whilst the last date of servicing is not documented, the watch and all functions are working perfectly, with good accurate timekeeping for a period of approximately 24hrs.
